Judge Lucy Koh has done her best to persuade Apple and Samsung to stop pummeling each other and work out a deal, but the unruly litigants are showing no inclination to end their global patent war. Instead of a Christmas truce, it's more likely that both sides will be redoubling their efforts to mount a New Year's offensive.
