vmware7 安装和卸载

在www.vmware.com注册后可下到 for linux 的 vmware workstation7
下载后是一安装包：VMware-Workstation-Full-7.1.0-261024.i386.bundle
属性>>可执行>>双击运行 即可安装

软件安装虚拟机的过程和运行虚拟机是痛苦的事情，cpu占用100%，动弹不得，卸载
先找到卸载程序：locate vmware-uninstall

回复：
/usr/bin/vmware-uninstall
/usr/bin/vmware-uninstall-vix
/usr/lib/vmware-installer/1.1/vmware-uninstall-downgrade

试着卸载：sudo /usr/bin/vmware-uninstall

回复：
You have gotten this message because you are either downgrading VMware
Workstation, Player, or VIX, or because you attempted to run either
vmware-uninstall or vmware-uninstall-vix.

If you are downgrading, please uninstall all newer versions first, then
install again.

The vmware-uninstall* scripts have been deprecated. Instead, please use
the vmware-installer.

Long form:
vmware-installer --uninstall-product PRODUCT
Short form:
vmware-installer -u PRODUCT

Where PRODUCT is one of vmware-workstation, vmware-player, or vmware-vix.

For a list of which products are installed, you may run:
vmware-installer --list-products
or:
vmware-installer -l

......鼓捣了一会，最后发现按粗体提示即可轻松卸载：
用 vmware-installer 命令替换 vmware-uninstall
先用命令 vmware-installer -l （注意：该命令在 /usr/bin/下）列出已安装的vmware 软件：

sudo /usr/bin/vmware-installer -l

回复：

Product Name Product Version
====================== ====================
vmware-workstation 7.1.0.261024

接着就可卸载了：
sudo /usr/bin/vmware-installer -u vmware-workstation

OK，终于弹出卸载对话框了，一切清净了。

将硬盘一分区格成 ext4 ，安装 vbox虚拟软件，光盘安装 winxp，流畅。
