Powertop是Intel专门为Intel cpu推出的一款在Linux下运行的节电程序。可以找出常常把cpu从闲置中唤醒的程序，然后修复或者关闭那些进程，达到省电的目的。
PowerTOP 要求 Linux 内核开启 tickless idle 功能，并具备 2.6.21 及以上版本，所以只能在ubuntu 7.10之后版本下使用。
安装简单，直接sudo apt-get install powertop就可以。

使用方法是终端下

代码： 全选

sudo powertop

等待数据提示, 下面第三项提示用哪个按键, 就按下哪个---这就是系统分析出的优化方案.


实例: 在我的thinkpad x60上使用了一下，效果明显，电池续航时间比以前至少多了半个小时以上，甚至比xp下的续航时间还长，强烈推荐。

我的电池是四蕊,应该很有用,试试.

好像有效果。不过发现按照它的建议用快捷键方式修改参数（比如shift+w修改 vm_dirty... 写盘时间间隔）重启系统之后再运行powertop它还是会提示相同建议，似乎上次做的修改并未保存？
