Gnome shell的几个很好的extensions

今天终于和unity说Bye bye了，装上了gnome shell。
gnome shell里面有几个不错的extensions。

A helper letting you control your display brightness. Can be set to persist across reboots. Supports hover scrolling and custom keybindings for changing brightness.

Maximushttps://extensions.gnome.org/extension/354/maximus/
Undecorate maximized windows, like Ubuntu's old 'Maximus' package. See readme at extension homepage.

system-monitor https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/ ... m-monitor/
Display system informations in gnome shell status bar, such as memory usage, cpu usage, network rates…

TopIcons https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/495/topicons/
Shows legacy tray icons on top

Window Buttonshttps://extensions.gnome.org/extension/ ... w-buttons/
Add minimize, maximize and close buttons to the panel. Originally by Josiah Messiah, maintained by m.c. See homepage for instructions.

关于窗口标题只有关闭按钮的问题，可以通过gnome-tweak-tool来设置。在shell->Arrangement of buttons on the titlebar里面设置。

A new taskbar with features similar to the one that can be found in Windows 7:
- Display favorites and running applications
- Group by running applications
- Previews
补充说明，Taskbar上的图标就是活动界面里面的图标。可以通过修改活动界面里面的图标修改Taskbar上的图标。

Taskbar在GNOME3.8有BUG，建议安装Dash to Dock

如果感觉Window Buttons占top bar的空间，那么可以选择另外一个extension：Window options。
Window options https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/ ... w-options/
Adds window options (always on top, always on visible workspace, ...) to right-click menu of title bar in the panel. Note: this extension may not play well with other extensions that also modify the appMenu, particularly if they destroy it rather than just patching it. If you make sure window options loads *after* the other extensions it might work.
右键点击图标也可以通过菜单最大化或者最小化窗口。
