It appears Motorola's set-top business is another part of the company Google doesn't want, if rumors it's considering bids from two companies are on the level. What that suggests is that Google is not going to mount a big strategic TV offensive, possibly leaving the territory wide open for Apple. Or perhaps Google has plans that just aren't a good fit for Motorola's cable box division.
