Ubuntu Tweak 0.6 stable has been released. Ubuntu Tweak is an application to make Ubuntu's configuration easier for everyone. It provides many useful desktop and system options that the default desktop environment doesn't. The new version comes with a revamped user interface and many new features, but also without some of its old features: App and Source Center are no longer available in Ubuntu Tweak because, according to the Ubuntu Tweak developer, even though these features were liked by many users, they caused a lot of problems and also, they weren't exactly tweaks. Here’s the noteworthy highlights of Ubuntu Tweak 0.6.0.

• Brand new UI and interaction focus on better looking and easy to use
• Supports the latest Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot and well integrated with system
• Every part of Ubuntu Tweak is plug-able, this make Ubuntu Tweak more powerful then ever before
• Janitor keeps your system clean
• Overview makes you know your system better
• Unity 2D and 3D customization
• Change Ubuntu theme
• Natural scrolling (for Mac OS X Lion users)

Ubuntu Tweak 0.6 stable is only available for Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot for now. To install it open a terminal and type

1. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa
2. sudo apt-get update
