i use the ubuntu linux 6.06 lts , but i can't use the pingyin, the scim can't find the pingyin, and i use synaptic can't find the pingyin,who can help me?? now i am in the ubuntu, so i can't use pingyin, so use the english send this

打开语言选项，看中文那里，应该是一个“-”，打上勾，再确定，应该就可以使用SCIM的中文输入法了。

请问一下楼主安装时是否选择的是中文？

如联好网线并选择中文安装的话，系统安装完毕就已经自动安装各种中文输入法了！

我也为中文输入法的问题头疼了好几天，后来重装系统才搞定，建议楼主重装试试，记得联好网线哦，祝楼主好运！
