各位，有没有人在ubuntu7.10下输入过中文，是和windows下智能abc差不多吗？怎么做才行?我用了论坛里的方法，可是不行。

只要你安装了中文语言就能输入中文了，跟abc差不多。条件是你能上网，网络速度可以，在系统－》系统管理－》语言支持里面把Chinese够上就能安装中文语言包了，装好之后就有中文输入法了。

补充楼上的：在语言支持里，同时要选中Input Method下面那个checkbox。系统然后从网上下载语言包和中文输入法，然后自动安装。安装完后，用ctr+space调用输入法。

我试了上面的方法，还是有问题，我是硬盘安装的操作系统，在第一次要求install语言支持时，没有下载完整，我的情况是：在我系统－》系统管理－》语言支持后，我点确定后是：
downloading package files
the package files will be cached locally for installation
downloading file 3 of 7（可能是下了三个文件，就不行了）
downloadrate ：unknown 回车后：
然后下面是：please insert the disk labeled:
ubuntu7.10_Gusty Gibben _-release candidate i386(20071009.1)
in dirve/cdrom/
回车后：
然后下面是：
An error occured
The following details are provided
W:Failed to fetch cdrom:[ubuntu7.10_Gutsy Gibben_-Release candidate i386(20071009.1)]/pool/main/m/mozilla-firefox-locale-all/mozilla-firefor-locale-en-gb-2.0.0.7+1-Oubuntu2_all.deb
还有就是在语言支持里，我不能选中Input Method下面那个checkbox，因为那是灰的，不能选。
