network-manager-pptp包无法正常工作

安装后在NetworkManager里面无法找到新增的VPN设置项

Feisty/Edgy x86
You will need NetworkManager installed:

sudo apt-get install network-manager-gnome network-manager-pptp
Then, a network icon will appear in your notification area. Select it, and then select VPN Connections > Configure VPN. Add your VPN to the list, and then in the terminal do the following:

sudo NetworkManager restart
Click the icon again, and go to VPN Connections and then select your VPN. Voila. You're connected!
如上所述,但无法在通知栏里找到什么连接图标,更没有没什么" select VPN Connections ". 接下来的自然就没办法设置了, 哪位遇到这情况?

我也是（7.04正常），现在只能在虚拟机xp上连VPN，还有，这里VPN只是一种加速手段，其实就是相当于代理，不是接入私网的那种...所以不需要两个网络接口

我也是额。。搞不定。。不知道有没有人可以解决

重启以后就有了选项，点一下就会出现让你输入用户名密码的地方，不过遗憾的是我死活连不上windows vpn服务器，郁闷，老是说出现一个错误，也不说是什么错误。

重装了系统后。。配置好8021x后vpn选项就没有了。。一开始刚装好时有的。不知道大家有没有解决的方法。

哈哈，我找到怎么配置的方法了，并且已经成功连接ubuntu.org.cn的vpn，用network-manager-pptp，绝非老的pptpconfig，忙活了一个下午，终于找到了，先上图，明天写个终结的帖子
