求救，总是找不到linux kernel headers

在装vmware workstation的时候，提示我说kernel headers for version 2.6.35-24-generic were not found ,在/sur/src 下找到linux-headers-2.6.35-24-generic，但是还是提示说C header files matching your running kernel were not found.

我照着这个网站上做的，下载了kernel-devel ，在/usr/share/doc下找到了相同的linux-headers-2.6.35-24-generic，但是选这个文件夹时还是提示说C header files matching your running kernel were not found.
在/usr/share/doc下有linux-kernel-devel这个文件夹，但是我选这个文件夹还是出现相同的错误，怎样才能安装呢？
我的ubuntu是10.10版本
下载的vmware workstation for linux是7.1版本
