cd ~/.fcitx

修改config 文件，把中文字体修改为你自己机器上的字体。注意，这个文件的编码是gb2312的。

config里面的字体需要和那个字体一致，因为系统—》字体有很多字体的选项。

在你的/etc/enviorment文件中加入

LANG="en_US.UTF-8"
LANGUAGE="en_US:en_GB:en"
LC_CTYPE="zh_CN.UTF-8"
XMODIFIERS="@im=fcitx"

然后你的以上问题都可以解决,如果gedit还是,就在gedit的设置里面换个支持中文的字体

楼主的问题解决了么？我用了XP下的字体进行美化之后也和楼主一样的情况，最右边和显示候选字的时候都是方框，在美化之前是没有问题的。期待高人解答~

5楼 actually can't solve the problem, for the Fcitx now working... (but thx ${L_SMILIES_SMILE}$
Should edit the font in the .fcitx/config
I try simsum... but not work, at least I use font=*, then OK ${L_SMILIES_SMILE}$
gedit problem: select the encoding when open file
