I am sorry BUT I can't find scim-pinyin,can U help me

through the command:
sudo apt-get install scim scim-modules-socket scim-modules-table scim-pinyin scim-tables-zh scim-input-pad

or

sudo apt-get install fcitx

after exectued, the reply is: Couldn't find package fcitx or scim.

It's hard for me to do some else. even I don't know how to install a package without apt-get.

Is there any resolution?

and another question: what's warty,hoary,breezy,dapper,edgy ?

I'm a new comer.
