Sun公司的JDK是不支持Power PC架构的。所以如果要在Power PC的电脑上使用Java，除了有开源的gij外（这个是ununtu自带的）。可以使用IBM公司提供的JDK。

你可以去
http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/j ... nload.html
下载。需要注册一个用户先。记得要下载32-bit iSeries/pSeries这个版本。

1.5下载下来应该是叫做“ibm-java2-sdk-50-linux-ppc.tgz”。直接解压。

然后
sudo rm /usr/bin/java
sudo rm /usr/bin/jar
sudo ln -s /ibm JDK解压后的目录/java /usr/bin/java
sudo ln -s /ibm JDK解压后的目录/jar /usr/bin/jar
sudo ln -s /ibm JDK解压后的目录/javac /usr/bin/javac
sudo ln -s /ibm JDK解压后的目录/javaw /usr/bin/javaw
......
（如果只是运行程序的话，后边两步都可以省略了）
