i m new to Ubuntu,days ago i followed the "Help Manual" instructions and installed this distribution , but some problem occured.

i can not input Chinese after i install SCIM(with the lateest version),as well as fcix(?),it doesn't work when i hit "ctrl+space".

Does anyone who can help me to slove this problem?

如果是dapper，默认就安装好了呀
如果不是，你可以安装scim-pinyin

代码：全选

sudo apt-get install scim-pinyin

或者装小企鹅

代码：全选

sudo apt-get install fcitx

不是fcix。。
