如何加密文件夹？

请问，如何对文件夹加密？linux下用什么软件可以做到？
我知道可以用gpg对文件进行加密，对通讯进行加密。
有些软件可以对磁盘分区进行加密，
请问，如何对文件夹加密？

我的系统是ubuntu 8.04 可以直接 apt 安装:
sudo apt-get install cryptkeeper encfs
使用：
安装完成后会在菜单应用程序==》系统工具 中有Cryptkeeper，单击运行。Cryptkeeper 运行后会在系统托盘里有一个钥匙图标，这个就是Cryptkeeper了。单击Cryptkeeper 然后弹出



Import EncFS folder
导入原有EncFS 目录

New encrypted floder
创建一个EncFS 目录，并导入到Cryptkeeper。

/home/hew/myonly
是我已有的目录。

我的问题，安装完成后，点击

Cryptkeeper cannot access fuse and so cannot start

Check that fuse is installed and that you are a member of the fuse group.

如何做？
