ubuntu环境下 如何拨号方正宽带？？？

家里是方正宽带，没有modem，只见网线查到网卡的那种。
安装了ubuntu，不太会拨号。
使用pppoeconf拨号
检测的时候，提示错误：
access concentrator not respond 什么的...
忘 各位 请教啊
