I have a notebook with integrated digital soundcard,(soundMax/AD1981b)
Tonight I installed the latest ubuntu and everything is ok except no sound.Download the lastest alsa drivers,compiled and installed, but still no sound.

At last, I run alsamixer in command line, and mute "Headphone Jack Sense" , "Line jack Sense" and "External Amplifier"( 'M' key can switch the status ), ${L_SMILIES_ROLLING_EYES}$ HAHA, music comes out ${L_SMILIES_SMILE}$

Sorry, I have no chinese IME in my ubuntu~
