Sis 760显卡在ubuntu6.06中配置问题

系统默认的是vesa不是sis呀，并且没有3D加速呀，有知道怎么配置的吗，谢谢交流。

先查看你系统的信息：
X -version
gcc -v
从http://
www.winischhofer.eu/linuxsispart4.shtml#download下载最新的驱动
我下载的是 X.org 6.9.0 (gcc 4.x; should work for 7.0 as well)
Installation:
* Extract the downloaded archive file. The archive contains only one file named "sis_drv.o" (starting with X.org 6.9.0, this file is called "sis_drv.so").
* Starting from X.org 6.9, you MUST stop X.org before proceeding.
* Copy "sis_drv.o" (sis_drv.so for X.org 6.9 and later) over the existing one which usually is located at /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers.
* (Re-)start X.org/XFree86. If you get "unresolved symbol" errors when starting X.org/XFree86, you chose the wrong version.
我把sis_drv.o拷过去了，reboot后没效果啊！
怎么stop X.org啊？怎么(Re-)start X.org/XFree86啊？
大家就没有解决的办法吗?

选过了，没什么改进，3d加速还是不能用！又还回来vesa了，发现这个驱动用个好处，可以直接截电影的截图！呵呵
