双系统启动最奇怪的问题

偶先装ubuntu8.04，后装xp，采用在c：加grab并改boot的方法启动，以前试过没问题，现在启动时，进
8.04 kernel 2.6.4-16-generic 后出现如下：
booting `ubuntu 8.04 kernel 2.6.4-16-generic `
root (hd0,5)
error 19: cannot mount selected partition
please enter any key continue...
然后就回到了先装xp后装ubuntu的系统选项处。
请高手帮帮忙解决，先谢谢了！
