Ubuntu7.04 boot error

hello,all:
when i boot Ubuntu7.04, it occurs the following error:
"GDM could not write to your authorization file, it could mean that you are out of disk space or that your home directory could not be opened for writing. in any case, it is not possible to log in. please contact your system administrator"

Have anybody got idea about this problem?

用光盘进行recover

从提示看，可能是分区满了

也可能 用户主目录权限被改动 ——做过什么危险操作吗？

Enter into Grub, boot Ubuntu in recovery mode,
operate in command line and free some disk space ,
then reboot, it's ok! thanks
