搂主我的显卡驱动安装好了。beryl也可以用了。但我发现一个问题。我的笔记本的独立显卡是共享内存作为显存最大共享到256M。
但linux下的驱动不能共享显存了。只有64M。楼主有遇到这种情况吗？有方法解决吗？

不会阿，我这里就可以。如果没有自动搞定，那么请手动添加。参见aticonfig的手册。

8.40.4说解决了vesafb下切换到控制台再切换X的死机现象，但是我这还是一样啊，不知道有没有一样情况的朋友？

我的X800用开源驱动不能使用1680*1050的分辨率，在xorg.conf里添加了也没用。
按照方法二安装驱动后，fglrxinfo 命令显示的是mesa驱动，但是分辨率选项里有了1680*1050，不过部分地方花屏

但是我已经按照教程做了，三个方法都试，都是显示mesa。用方法二之后可以使用1680*1050分辨率，不过会局部花屏，怎么回事？
