重装Ubuntu时如何保留/home分区中的数据

为什么非要格式化？

没update的模式么?

i mean i re-installed the system,
formated the / and root,
not format the HOME ,
after installation, i found the email contents and its configration are still without any changes,
even the firefox browsing history are the same.....oooooooMG

你可以rm，不必format；
你的信息，可以及时导出，若你留了，~，可以保证你装完和在无~下装的是不同的。

权限问题。还有home下面的文件夹是和用户名相同的。

我只是觉得，既然都备份了，留不留home其实意义不大了。对于不想备份的人来说，倒是很有必要分个home出来。

现在安装时不用重新分一个的，只要不格式化/分区就好，安装时会保留原来home下的文件
如果不用同一用户名的话，会在home下多一个原来的用户文件夹

如果是双系统的话 那么最白痴的备份就是把备份文件转移到 windows的分区去 呵呵

既然/home是系统的一部分,那么你很可能就要弄出错来;
所以弄个(或几个)单独的分区来放你的文件来得好.

因为你没有删除home分区中的配置文件。
请在LiveCD状态下删除你的主文件夹中那些不是你创建的以.开头的文件夹和文件。
Because you do not delete the configuration file in the home partition.
Please enter liveCD, and remove the files and documents beginning with '.' in your main documents which isn't created by yourself. (You can show them by Ctrl+H).
