推荐个系统备份软件，Remastersys!

还有, tar 是好.但 就像 skyx 说的. LIVECD!!

这个做成的live cd能像官方的版本一样再安装到别的机器吗？并且设置不会改变，例如用户、samba的设置等等。。。
如果可以，对于想要批量使用的企业来说等于就做了张ghost

偶装windows多年来已经养成将系统单独安装的习惯了，所以自己的东西一概放在一个单独的分区内。所以现在用ubuntu时发现能独立分区后就直接把／home单独存放了。
另外偶还把／usr也单独一个分区了，其他／下文件夹偶还不太清楚其用处，所以最近一次装系统时还是和／放一个分区里了，
还有，谁知道linux哪种分区格式好一点？偶之前用的是ext3，现在用的是reiserfs，有的说家用不如reiserfs，有的又相反……丫丫的，都被搞糊涂了。

貌似按照这种方法咱又可以装个Linpus 9.6咯 ，呵呵，试试

我安装是将/root 和 /home 放在不同分区，如果重装或者装别的版本（suse，fedora）就只需要安装少量软件和驱动，更新，其他包括桌面，字体，一切一切的配置都不需要再弄，因为所有版本的Linux都将配置文件放在home，只要重新安装的时候，选择同样的分区设置为/home ,同时不要选择格式化，就可以了。

哈，所以我经常换liunx版本，都不需要重新配置

我也是这样哦，很方便

The livecd filesystem does not exist. Click OK to go back to the main menu and try the normal Dist mode or the Dist CDFS again.

备份不了,怎么回事呀

备份不了,,在/home没有remastersys目录呀,点击ok完后又返回菜单,没有备份,谁知道怎么回事

ghost不会修改grub的，即使是ghost双系统里的windows，你的grub仍然完好无损。
