ubuntu-6.06-dvd-amd64安装好进入黑屏的问题

如题，amd64的cpu,ati显卡,安装到是顺利，但进入xwindow后麻烦来了，鼠标稍一动就死机或者是黑屏，只能按复位键重启，按了N次把网络设置好后重启系统到文本方式下安装好显卡驱动再进xwindow才没事。
感觉系统还是很清爽，但兼容方面还没有测试完全，会遇到卡住的问题.配套软件也没完全跟上，但这都问题不大,64位毕竟是趋势.

受不了的就是刚进入时一动就黑屏，死机.如果没装好显卡驱动会一直持续下去，谁有耐心会继续用？并且，必须要连接网络才能安装驱动!

i can not install it !!!! both 6.06 and 6.10 .failed at 85% ,gnome-applets(prepairing to configure brltty-x11)
maybe i should reconfigre the video card 's drive?!

is here anyone can tell me what should i do ?
