Release description

The 12.02 release has changed the release versioning scheme. Instead of quarterly release, the usage of more frequent releases was adopted to address customer requests and streamline the release process. Starting with this release, the release numbering scheme will follow the YY.MM scheme, where the YY number represents the year of the release, and MM the month. For instance, the 12.02 release is corresponding to February 2012 release.

The 12.02 release highlights are: stable Intel® Ivy Bridge support, OpenGL 3.0 compatibility, improved Embedded Display Port support, stability fixes.
