ubuntu系统死机无法正常启动

请大家帮忙看看后面写的问题,不知道什么原因导致的问题

ubuntu系统死机无法正常启动修复记

实验需要,vmware开启了三个虚拟机,两个windows server 2008 ,一个centos,此时的系统已经有些卡顿了,由于还需要一台实验机,于是又开启了一天windows 7 。

结果就悲剧了,整个系统变的超级卡,基本已经陷入死机状态。

重启系统,结果发现只能进入grub的菜单选项,选择进入之后,就完全黑屏了。

修复

尝试恢复模式

首先想到的是,尝试进入恢复模式

Ubuntu Live CD

既然恢复模式不起作用,那就尝试下Live CD呗。

U盘启动盘

首先,在windows下,尝试使用`rufus`来制作ubuntu 18.04.1的u盘启动盘。

尝试启动,出现了[[Firmware Bug\]: TSC_DEADLINE disabled due to Errata; please update microcode to version: 0x52 (or later) [duplicate]](https://askubuntu.com/questions/984720/ ... crocode-to)的错误提示。

没有办法,那就尝试下升级主板的bios吧,中间一痛折腾,本文掠过升级过程,最后升级成功。

再次尝试live cd引导,发现还是进不去,虽然不提示之前的错误了,但还是进不去。

为了排除做出来的镜像有问题,

这是怎么回事?U盘不行,光盘试试?

光盘启动盘

由于手头有一张kali的live cd,于是尝试来引导启动。

启动选择界面倒是进去了,但是会滴滴响两声。

尝试`try without install`选项,进入live cd模式,结果很悲催的,还是卡住了,**提示在`initrd 正在加载`(不记得准确的输出了,但initrd这个还是记得的)之后就没动静了**。

还能怎么办?尝试下PE?

WinPE启动

使用通用PE(win10版)启动,这回倒是进去了。

有点不理解,为什么PE可以进,但linux的live就各种问题

pe下无法查看linux系统的文件,也无法读取或者修改,貌似进去了也没什么用

由于也没有什么启动日志可以查看,于是决定从恢复模式的启动错误考虑怎么解决问题

grub下查看initrd

由于加载停在了initrd处,于是怀疑是不是`initrd.img-4.15.0-45-generic`或者`vmlinuz-4.15.0-45-generic`发生错误了

于是在虚拟机中安装了ubuntu 18.04.1,又把内核升级到了`4.15.0-45`

使用sha1sum对以上两个文件作哈希计算,得到如下图所示

同样,在ubuntu实体机下作哈希计算:

可以发现,文件`vmlinuz-4.15.0-45-generic`的sha1值是相同的,但`initrd.img-4.15.0-45-generic`的sha1值却不同,所以,怀疑是`initrd.img-4.15.0-45-generic`这个文件损坏了

所以,接下来想尝试能不能恢复该文件

PE下读写ext3分区

由于只能进入pe,所以找了几款软件,尝试在windows下读取ext3分区,包括以下几个:

1. ext2explore

由于ext3的硬盘没有挂载,所以什么都看不到

2. ext2fs/pme3

由于缺少一些依赖文件,无法运行

3. ext2fsd

可以挂载上硬盘,但是显示是未格式化,也不行

4. ext2ifs

缺少文件,无法运行

5. rfsgui

缺少文件,无法运行

6. totalcommand+ex2fs插件

插件安装失败,缺少dll

7. linux_reader

可以读取出来,但是却没有办法写入

这下子感觉没什么办法了,不行做个windows to go试试吧,结果不知道什么原因,windows to go没有运行起来,在别的机器上也是了是,都不行

还尝试用了parrot os,和kali一样,都卡在了initrd处

不经意的重启尝试

尝试失败后,重启了电脑,没有管它,准备想一想还有什么办法

结果再看的时候,这回居然自己进去了...

但没敢关闭系统,不知道还会不会出问题

再次使用sha1sum对`initrd.img-4.15.0-45-generic`计算hash值,发现和grub下计算的值是一样的,第二天再此计算的时候,发现该文件的hash值又发生了变化,再查看了下修改时间,结果发现早些时候,这个文件又被更新过了

系统如何自动恢复的原因

不知道发生了什么?结果系统自动恢复了

initrd.img-4.15.0-45-generic文件自动更新

这个文件不是更新内核的时候才会更改么?sha1值不同,结果都进入了系统,是怎么回事?自动更新又是怎么回事?

LIVE CD无法进入系统的原因

这个问题也很奇怪,PE是可以正常进入的,但是好几个发行版的live cd的都进不去,包含以下几个发行版
kali
parrot
Porteus
systemrescue
ubuntu 18 live cd
kali和parrot都显示,加载initrd的时候出现了死机。这个很奇怪,live cd应该加载的是自身的initrd,按道理该文件应该没问题,结果出现了和故障机同样的问题

后续

备份旧的initrd文件

把从虚拟机中拷贝出的initrd.img重命名后放到boot目录下,如果再次出现故障,可以尝试在grub下从该文件引导

备份home目录

为了防止再次出现意外,使用ubuntu自带的备份软件对home目录进行了备份,备份到移动硬盘

ghost备份

尝试对系统进行ghost备份,还未进行

安装windows双系统

ubuntu出现问题时,如果此时能经如到windows系统,或许办法和手段就会多一些,还未尝试

initrd是由update-initramfs动态生成的,不仅仅是在升级内核时会更新,升级固件包、initramfs-tools、以及一些基础的库文件时都会去调用update-initramfs
另外你这个感觉像是硬件故障。比如过热导致某些设备运作出问题,你折腾一阵子后,温度自然降下去就好了。也可以跑跑memtest,万一是内存的高位区块有问题也有可能发生这种事。
