God of Thunder is a Zelda-esque action/adventure/puzzle/humor game released in 1994. It has many puzzles, some of them quite tough later on, but the install includes the complete hint book with solutions to all of them. There is also lot of fighting with your enchanted hammer and a boss at the end of each of the three episodes so you will need a quick hand as well as considerable wits.
It was originally shareware but is now freeware. This is the full registered version packaged up in a self-running DOSBox install
