一、到官网下载Driver Install Tool（应该也可以只下载Scanner Drivers，因为这个型号的一体机在打印方面是支持免驱动的即driverless),下载下来是linux-brprinter-installer-2.2，解压，在所在文件夹右键打开终端，输入sudo bash linux-brprinter-installer-2.2.3-1,然后按提示操作，输出：

三、在一体机面板按扫描，选择扫描到计算机，选择文件，一体机有找到计算机，会在ubuntur的主目录自动新建名为brscan的文件夹，扫描的文件就保存在这里。
四、扫描的文件是tif格式，若需要PDF格式，可以转存为PDF格式，方法为：用LibreOffice Draw打开文件——点左上角的文件按钮——选择导出为——直接导出为PDF

1. 装入原稿。
2. 按(扫描)。
3. 按 a 或 b 选择[扫描到计算机]选项，然后按 OK (确定)。
4. 按 a 或 b 选择[文件]选项，然后按 OK (确定)。
5. 如果设备已接入网络，按 a 或 b 选择目标计算机。
6. 按 OK (确定)。
如果液晶显示屏提示您输入 PIN，请在液晶显示屏上输入用于目标计算机的四位数 PIN，然后按 OK (确定)。

•若要更改此文档的扫描设置，按选项或复印/扫描 选项，然后转到下一步。

设备开始扫描。如果正在使用设备的平板扫描器，请遵循液晶显示屏提示完成扫描作业。
据此，应该是要Brother ControlCenter 软件才更改为扫描文件默认格式为pdf，但该软件是要在win或mac下才有支持的。
