[求助] 安装 Ubuntu 16.04 桌面版到u盘 导致u盘报废?

我想在 16GB 闪迪 CZ48 USB3.0 优盘上安装Ubuntu 16.04 桌面版。
根据网上的教程,我先在Ubuntu官网上下载了Ubuntu live cd 的ISO,使用Ultra ISO(Ver 9.6.5.3237)将ISO烧录在一个旧的金士顿2GB制成 Live-usb。
使用此金士顿优盘开机引导后正常开机并进入系统(电脑是IBM T60,2G 内存)。然后,关机、将2GB的金士顿优盘和16GB的闪迪 CZ48优盘同时插入IBM T60的USB口上,再开机,选择2GB的金士顿优盘引导,之后进入安装界面;安装时分区过程中已选择将 boot loader 安装在闪迪16GB的优盘上(/dev/sdb),闪迪优盘上分了一个10GB的"/"目录(ext4格式)和2GB的swap分区(还有3~4GB的剩余空间没有分区);安装开始 一切正常,安装完毕后系统提示重启,重启后选择闪迪 16GB优盘引导,正常登陆系统, 可以看到金士顿2GB优盘和闪迪16GB优盘上的挂载信息;

接着 问题出现了,问题出现了,问题出现了(三遍)

IBM T60关机后 我将闪迪16GB的优盘拔出,插在台式机上(win7 32bit,4GB内存,CPU i7 2600,主板:华硕 P8P67),希望通过闪迪优盘开机,结果在BIOS中的开机启动项中找不到闪迪16GB优盘的选项,更换前、后 USB插口 结果都一样;使用win7 系统正常开机登陆系统后,发现检测不到闪迪16GB优盘(优盘上的指示灯也不亮),磁盘管理器中也看不到优盘,更换前、后USB插口结果都一样。
将闪迪16GB优盘插入笔记本USB口,开机后一样检测不到优盘。(插跟没插一样)

闪迪优盘挂掉了,闪迪优盘挂掉了,闪迪优盘挂掉了

请问有谁遇到过与我一样的问题吗?

已经有两个CZ48牺牲了,我安装的方法和步骤有误吗 ?

按照官方wiki的说法,ubuntu装在U盘里是可接受的,但是不应该在U盘上swap

另外你买到的CZ48是插上去亮灯的?

那教程没考虑到装在USB Disk上这种情况
USB Disk减少写入是很重要的,特别是上面装操作系统的情况下

除了取消 swap 之外,还可采取以下措施适应闪存颗粒特点
noatime
deadline IO scheduler
ramlog
commit=600
......

“不应再U盘上装swap”在网上也看过,考虑到U盘的读写速度和寿命 不建议安装;但我是个新手,看过的教程说至少要有根目录和swap,所以就照做了,第一个分区10GB ext4格式,然后是2GB的swap;
1. 如果你的 RAM 內存 大於 2 GB
初安裝 Ubuntu (於 U 盤) 時 可以暫時不分割/掛載 swap 分割區
你將來實際使用 Ubuntu 有需要時 再分割/掛載 swap 分割區 或 swap 檔案

2. 如果你的硬盤上面有已經分割的 swap 分割區
從 U 盤啟動 Ubuntu 時 也可能會自動掛載該硬盤上面的 swap 分割區
2-1. 意思是 swap 分割區不一定需要在 U 盤上

3. 開機 登入桌面
sudo swapon -s
可以看出已經掛載的 swap 情況
