首先感谢你的文章,挺好。我已经访问到我的ubuntu机子的共享目录了,但是双击这个目录的时候也是提示“\\x.x.x.x 无法访问, 你可能没有权限使用网络资源....
我看了smb.conf文件,里面有passdb backend = tdbsam这句话啊?
请问为什么啊?谢谢!

我 是 菜鸟如下是我的 smb.conf,在xp下访问时是怎么要输入两次用户名和密码,一是在显示Ubuntu Samba Server主机是,另一次是进入共享目录Share Directory 2????谢了。

smb passwd file=/etc/samba/smbpasswd
log file = /var/log/samba/%m.log

[Share Directory 2]
comment = My Share Directory2

步骤6:重启samba服务
#/etc/init.d/samba restart

这里我的init.d目录里面没有sanba restart这个文件啊 怎么重启动呢 ??这个前面也要加sudo吧?

.

/etc/init.d/目录下应该是有samba这个文件的(当然你没安装samba也就没有了),至于restart只是一个运行参数.

问一下各位,不知是怎么回事,我的ubuntu一直是无法ping通网关
而在windows可以?还有就是如果是拨号上网的话,是如何查看自己的
局域望IP地址的,我安装samba后却一直不能在windows网络中看到其
他主机,不知是不是网段的问题?谢谢

LZ我要问的是

XP可以访问到UBUNTU的共享,但是通过UBUNTU的“位置-网路-windows网络”点开XP电脑后,找不到共享的文件,里面是空的(XP已经共享)

楼主的文章对新手很有用的!
鄙视某些自以为清高的装 **者。
新手是来找方法的,不是来看风言风语说话带刺的。

我有个问题
我以前一直不能共享,
把网上能找到的方法全部都试了一遍
还是不能。
一气重装了Ubuntu,再共享就可以了。
但是现在又不能共享了,
在XP上能看到我的共享文件夹
但是打开文件夹时提示:无法访问,找不到网络名。
怎么回事啊?
我也不知道对ubuntu做了什么就变这样了。。。
