升级到18.10后plymouth启动动画变成text主题了

从ubuntu18.04升级到18.10后，plymouth启动图片动画就变成text主题动画了。
以前没有注意这个问题。也可能与这次版本升级无关，可能与卸载ubuntukylin的plymouth开机动画有关。具体什么原因不太清楚。
查了大量plymouth的资料，了解到开机启动时，plymouth会首先启动/etc/default.plymouth,这个链接到/usr/share/plymouth/themes/ubuntu-logo/ubuntu-logo.plymouth
没有任何错误。用update-alternatives --config default.plymouth 也看到了这个自动模式，然后update-initramfs -u.
但是，启动电脑后，却没有启动/etc/default.plymouth,而是启动了/etc/text.plymouth.这个链接到/usr/share/plymouth/themes/ubuntu-text/ubuntu-text.plymouth
所以启动的是这个ubuntu的text主题。
没有找到问题出在哪里。于是查找日志plymouth-debug.log,看到如下一段：

看来问题是，在show-splash-screen时，由于no pixel displays，于是自动改为显示text.plymouth了。
这个问题怎么解决，没有找到资料。
请高手指点。
